Rebuilt head 993 issue
Hey all,
I recently slapped on a freshly rebuilt head 993 rebuilt by "Cylinder Heads International" and everything has been fine and dandy but I have recently looked at the coolant in the engine and its completely orange (RUST?) and when I say orange I mean ORANGE like the color of an orange lol.. I know its not a good idea but I strictly had only water running threw my engine since the new head. The color didn't really look like it was rust so why orange? Maybe its from all the rust that was previously built up inside the head? Tonight I'm going to flush it out and fill it back up but this time with 70% water and 30% coolant. I live in Texas and its about 105 degrees everyday here lately if that helps at all.
Engine: 383 Stroker bored 080 over. (its for sure bored 080 over)
Driving I run: 210-215
Sitting I run : 220-245
And I took that picture when I first purchased the vehicle.
