Electric Fans and Radiators
I need some insight on fans for my camaro. Im throwing a very mild 355 in my car. What should i go after in the pull a part yard for a radiator?
What car/truck has something that'll fit? We only have two camaros in the local yard, and i want to say, that they both are radiator less.
Also, im going to do electric fans, but switch controlled.
Whats a good stock fan to go after?
Thanks Fellas.

Re: Electric Fans and Radiators
You'd be fine with a stock radiator and even a stock single fan from a Camaro. The trick (to me) is the controller - I use an adjustable aftermarket controller from Flex-a-lite. It probes the radiator, is totally adjustable, and has not even thought about failing in the 5 years I've had it installed. I never see above 200 in mine with my 350.
Some say the Taurus fans are good fans - never tried one as my TBI stock fan and radiator have given me plenty of cooling with that adjustable seperate fan controller.
