88 Camaro TBI - vapor lock on hot start?

I have an 88 camaro 305 TBI and i am in the desert. When i park it and it is hot, engine warm and parking lot desert hot, i sometimes have a hard time starting. It acts like vapor lock. It will run rough, but eventually clear, but it is worrysome. Only happens when everything is good and hot. Seems to be OK for a short park, but when shopping for 25-30 min. it has trouble starting. Any ideas?
Fuel filter is fresh. Runs well otherwise.
Thanks team.

I bet you have a bad fuel pump relay. Kind of the wrong section for this. General engine tech would be the best bet or TBI section. But when it does this you need to have fuel pressure checked. I bet it doesnt start right until the oil pressure takes over for feeding the fuel pump voltage. Just a guess. have this thread moved or start another in one of the other sections
