fans not right

fans not right

hi my primary fan i think its the primary turns on as soon as you start the car and the secondary never turns on at all what would cause the primary to run all the time? i have changed the two coolant temp sensors the on in the intake and the one in the driver side of the head

Sounds like someone has straight wired the fan to run always - I'd look at wiring at the fan relays for post-production wiring.

There should only be one CTS on the inatke either on or near the thermostat housing.

The driver side "sensor" is actually just a sender for the temp guage, and has nothing to do with fan operation.

On the pass side, on the head, between #6 and #8 spark plug is the fan switch, which controls the secondary fan - the primary fan is controlled solely by the computer through the CTS on/near the thermostat housing.

the wiring is back to factory when its doing this so i have have 2 things broken?
