"oil cooler" or transmission fluid cooler? I don't have any 3rd gens with an oil cooler (S10 Blazer does, but not the camaros) but the ones with an automatic transmission have the supply/return lines coming out of the transmission on the passenger side and running into/out of the radiator on the passenger side.
