Cooling fan questions
I have been reading about the operation of the dual fan set up like I have on my 87 GTA. The last owner of this car wired each fan to two toggle switches. When I bought the car only one toggle worked the primary (driver side) fan and the passenger side did not work with the switch. I purchased a new lighted toggle to replace the old one which appeared to be bad. I flip the toggle and it lights up but that passenger side fan still doesn't come on. I looked under the hood and it looks to be all wired up. Is there a fuse for that side alone or something alas I might check? My car has the digital dash and the temp gauge is pretty much always at about 210-220 cruising around town or freeway. Is that normal? There is no detonation or anything.

Re: Cooling fan questions
The pass side fan is switched through ground via the sensor in your pass side head.
Re: Cooling fan questions
My dual fans come on as soon as the car is started. Not sure for how long, I added a radiator probe to it last summer. Recently used a paper clip to check engine codes, noticed that when I inserted the paper clip into the Computer Command Control Center (terminals A & B), turned the ignition to ON position (without starting). To clear the codes, I unhooked the ECM electrical pigtail at the positive battery cable. Codes cleared, but now when I start the car the dual fans come on right away. I have a 1989 5.7 liter 350 TPI engine.......any help would be appreciated.
