Re: wire harness

1985 TA 5.0 tpI Relay is mounted on radiator bracket on passenger side. I have new relay but plug harness was taken apart. Just need to know what wires go to the ABCD HARNESS. Or can someone send me a wire link for this harness!

Re: wire harness

Ok, I'm on it. I have LOTS of wiring diagrams I collected while doing my projects, so let me look thru and see what I can find.

Re: wire harness

Is it your cooling fan relay? That sounds like the proper location, but my '88 LB9 IROC-Z uses 2 relays in that location for the cooling fan, and they are both 6-socket style (ABCDEF), although only 4 are used, ADEF. A is Red, or the main 12V supply to the fan(s), B is empty, C is empty, D is Tan / Brown, or the 10A fused 12V supply to the inductor coil in the relay. E is Orange, or the 12v supply via fusible link to the switch side of the relay. F is Green, or the signal wire from the inductor coil side of the relay to the ECM.
If this isn't helpful, let me know and we'll try again. Start by letting me know what color wires you are dealing with, that is incredibly helpful towards identifying their circuit.

Re: wire harness

I pluged wires as told & everything works perfect!
I went with aftermarket parts, But after owning the car 26 years I wanted to keep all original! Thanks again & thank you third gen. people who care....
