should I yank the a/c or easy fix
should I yank my a/c or this is an fix if it's even broken at all. the guy before me said it doesn't work he hasn't tried it. I just got hot air when I turned it on. what you think?

Does it get hot where you live? Do you keep your windows down when driving most of the time? If it blows, sounds like compressor works. Has it been converted to 134a? R12 can be expensive. But to convert is a pretty cheap fix. I would not be without a AC.. Az is really hot. I would see if the ac is in working order before you pull everything out. If it just needs a charge that would be great!

Lately its been getting 90+ the ground gets to hot so you can imagine my camaro. I really don't have a choice but to roll them down and drive as fast as needed. They chopped off emissions so I'm not sure if everything's stock or not.

at walmart they have a r-12 to r-134a retrofit kit for like 40$ and its super easy!! took me maybe 10 minutes and it works like a charm now! it called ez-chill retrofit kit.

Make sure all the components are there. If your not sure, research, get a Haynes book and look into it. Then make a decision.
