Cooling Mod Questions

I have replaced my stock 305 with a 383 with the HSR setup; I screwed up and didn't take everything off of my old motor before the guy I sold it to came and got it, pretty sure I left some fittings on there that I need. In addition, this is a "weekend warrior" type car, definitely not a daily driver and will be stored in the winters. So, I removed the A/C and heater core and plan on bypassing the TB coolant.

So...I'm a little lost on what coolant hoses/lines I'm going to need other than the upper & lower radiator hoses. I thought I was being good and snapped a bunch of pictures before I started tear-down, but unfortunately a you can't really see much.

If anyone can provide me with what type of fittings (in the manifold, in the water pump, etc.) I'm going to need and how to route any other hoses, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Re: Cooling Mod Questions

You need a 5/8" hose fitting in the manifold for the hot water outlet to the heater, and a ¾" one in either the water pump or the rad for the cold water return from the heater (plug whichever you don't use).

Re: Cooling Mod Questions

Since I removed the heater core, does that mean I just plug all of the additional holes? No other hoses needed other than upper/lower radiator?
