New relay= radiator fans work but only for a min
New relay= radiator fans work but only for a min
OK so my radiator fans stopped working in my camaro. I checked for power at the fans, no power, i check for power at the fuse and i have power, i check for power at the relay and i don't have any power. I replace the fan relay and the fan kicked on right away, it ran for about 2 min then quite working again. If i put another new relay in it will work for 2 min then turn off. hmmm??????

Test the relays which caused the fan to stop after 2 minutes.
Apply power to the coil to see if they still pull in.
Also when you install the next relay, monitor both the coil power in and the main power in, with meters or test lights (the type for testing for voltage, not a continuity tester).
This way you can see which leg of the circuit is dropping power.
