Camaro running too COOL! why?

I know how the sounds, on of these thirdgens running too cool but its true. The highest it reached was the first mark on the temp gauge. i opened the hood and check everything with a temp gun and even after over an hour of driving you could touch the radiator cap and hold your hand on it. the exhaust pipes werent even hot. about a month ago i changed the radiator and thermostat and never had this issue it was running at a good temp. Now i know it got colder out, it was about 55*F here in jersey and even though it cooled down i really dont think the engine should run that cold. Let me know what you guys think any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Camaro running too COOL! why?

sounds good. make sure you let everyone know what you find out. I've noticed on these forums not many people actually post when they solve their problem. that would be extremely helpful to anyone else who has the same problem to see what works and what doesn't.

hey, about that check engine light too. what code is it giving you? it's usually a good idea to take care of something that causes the check engine light to come on.

Re: Camaro running too COOL! why?

Sounds like a combination of the cooler outside temps, new radiator and a stuck thermostat.
