hey man just go with a stewart water pump I got my 84 z28 and I took my old one out and replaced it with the $80 stewart pump and it works great.....I really recommend it.

You know that's more than I paid for a long-neck aluminum Edelbrock water pump right about 20 years ago. Life goes on and prices go up. It was a great water pump, it outlasted the car. I don't know if that's still the case though.

ye well I still remember when I was a kid and I would go with my dad to good old carquest back in the 90's and prices werent like they are now....I wouldnt doubt that a water pump in the next 10 years will go up to $150...
