Non AC car
Wanting to take out the ac in the car we are building. Did they make these
3rd gen cars without air. Can the heater only unit be installed after all the ac stuff in removed? Would like a heater but don't need the ac.

Yes, they did make 3rd gen cars with out ac.
I got a heater box out of a non ac car for less than $20 at my local junkyard (pulled off myself). OEM heater boxes are metal, you can buy aftermarket ones made of fiberglass.
