Leaking petcock

I have a service replacement dealer radiator in my car. I had recently started to notice that the front support were the radiator rests gets a little damp, and then finally today I saw a small puddle in front of car. I warm up the car to see where it's coming from, and BLAM a torrent of coolant starts pouring out. It turned out to be the radiator petcock. It won't go back in, so I'm at a loss. Do I need yet ANOTHER radiator, or do I just need to replace the petcock?

Replacement petcocks are readily available. Try replacing it first.

Looks like the petcock just broke in half. Ugh. Half of it is still in the radiator.

Well, I forget exactly what the area looks like, but, if there is enough of a nub sticking out of the radiator where the petcock goes in, you could possibly place a rubber hose cap on the end and place a hose clamp over that. Could get you by until you want to change the radiator. Unless you can get a pair of needle noses pliers in there to grab the remains of the petcock and twist it out...Or... and I doubt there room, maybe carefully get a good size drill bit and drill out the center of the remains. Jam a flathead or something in the new hole and twist it out. Lots of potential options.
