Transmission: Automatic with shift kit
Cold air intake

I was looking at putting a cold air intake on my 86 Trans Am. Would you recomend doing this or no? If so any sugguestions on what kind?

If its really a cold air intake, yes. If its a metal pipe with a big cone filter open in the engine compartment as most are, no.

What isbthe difference between the 86 tubing compared to the 88-89 tubing?

This is 88-89 tubing modified by SLP for their kit but 4 the most part it looks factory..
