Help please odd AC problem won't work on one fan setting only.
My AC works perfectly normal until I put the fan selector on hi then AC and fan just shut off. I replaced the dash control unit and that had no effect. So I changed the fan salvage yard piece and I still have the same issue. Can some one point me in the right direction on what to check next?

Im guessing you have a short to ground. I wouldn't keep replacing parts. See if you can get a hold of a wiring diagram and start looking for shorts. It will most likely be a real pain but I think that is where you will find the answer.

Most likely a bad high speed fan relay, located on evap housing underhood.

Eseibel67 BINGO! You where right except for the location of said relay. It was close to that location though.
