Heater Control Valve eliminate effects
What are the effects of eliminating the Heater Control Valve? Would like to eliminate it and route my lines off to the side of the motor

Re: Heater Control Valve eliminate effects
why eliminate ? can get pretty darn cold in some areas . since you did not show your location in profile we do not know . on the gulf coast where I live I don't need it often . when I do i'm glad I have it . why not re-locate valve ? I and many others have re-located valve to rt. rear (pass.) corner of eng. bay . do a search on "re-locate htr. valve" , lots of info. and pics. . good luck .

ALOT of cars don't have one at all. Instead, hot water flows in the heater core ALL the time.
No reason you can't do that to yours.
Main effect will be, the AC won't be quite as effective.
This would be in the class of things that just because it "can be" done, it's not necessarily "A Good Idea".
