Can you help identify this sensor?

1992 Z28, 350, dual fans, with AC. Passenger side of engine, between spark plug 6 & 8.

If this is on the driver's side, it would be the coolant sensor.

Thanks for replying, but I've identified it on the right side (passenger). From reading the threads, in the picture below, the sensor next to the starter is the "coolant fan switch."

The sensor near the starter is the knock sensor. It's further down the engine block.
Not sure whether the 350 block has the coolant sensor on the passenger's side (that's the issue with left and right; you never know from which point of view left is left and right is right )
But the first sensor definitely looks like a coolant sensor and being mounted in the cylinder head strengthens that assumption even more.

Thank you NCC-2569 for identifying the 2nd picture as being the knock sensor and not the coolant fan switch.

Tuned Performance for helping to confirm that the 1st picture is the "coolant fan switch". The switch itself looked nothing like what is sold these days.
