LS-1 Fan Motor

Was looking at fan motors, and came up wit han interesting question. Could I replace my stock fan motor with one for an LS1? Something like this http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...1384&ppt=C0331
Would it make the fan spin faster, and (in theory) push more air while still keeping the stock look? Or, should I just stick with a stock motor?

I am looking into a Taurus Fan but I dont have the time/money to be retrofitting, wiring, etc to get it to work.

thoughts?

I'm pretty sure if you click on the Compatibility button on this page it will have your answer.

Also I'm going through a problem with a fan at the moment. Its too loud. I can hear it over the motor/exhaust and I have a Flowmaster 80 series cat back thats pretty loud. IMO it totally ruins the sound of the car so its getting replaced. Be careful what you put in. If you don't care about the way your car sounds then don't worry about it.

Compatibility page doesnt show a thirdgen. But, it looks exactly like one out of a thirdgen.

Re: LS-1 Fan Motor

doubt it. I just took the entire LS1 fan assembly (and shroud) and just modified it to fit--just a little trimming and it fit. I think there's some instructions on converting somewhere on the site..
