An odd coolant temp sender question
Ok, I've got a 350 carbed, all motor, was torn apart about two years ago due to a BHG and I've finally started working on it again. After I got both heads back on, and the intake, I realized that I had actually put driver on pass and pass on driver. Problem being, there's a half inch plug now where that unit would go between 1 and 3 that for the life of me I CANNOT get out, its broken tools and almost stripped the plug. Now, the hole for that sending unit is now located between 6 and 8 on the pass side, Are there any repercussions to running the temp sender from there?

Re: An odd coolant temp sender question
Thank you for your answer! For future reference, a mechanic has also confirmed that it can be done and the only downside would be that the temp reading may have a 10-15° variance in readings.
