Radiator Replacement

My radiator started leaking under pressure today while was out enjoying the first nice day we've had in a while, driving my 1988 Formula 350. Looking around for replacements, I see most places sell one with plastic tanks(sides) and an aluminum core and are generally around $90 cost. I also saw an AC Delco radiator at Rock Auto for about $210 but it didn't give any details about the construction, if it had metal or plastic tanks. Anyone know about the AC Delco radiator construction? Is an all metal radiator much better? My currently has one with plastic tanks, leaking at a crack where the tank is attached to the core.

Re: Radiator Replacement

The Delco will have plastic tanks just like the $90 rads. To be honest, if you took both out of the box, there probably isn't much difference.
If you wanted to upgrade, now would be the time. I put a Champion in mine, there is a sticky thread up above on them.
