secondary fan not starting....how in consistant are the fan switches?
I had a issue with my secondary fan not turning on and traced it down to the fan switch. So I replaced itwith a sw555 switch in the goal of lower temps.
In which it was success and all was well, until today I noticed the temp gauge climbing and parked the car and saw the secondary fan wasn't on. So I grabbed a jumper and grounded the connection and BAM fan in operational. So the switch has failed again? in 40 miles?

Re: secondary fan not starting....how in consistant are the fan switches?
That's what I am afraid of, so I just spliced the primary and secondary fans together and bam. When the primary goes on the both go on. No more overheating for me!!! FINALLY!!! If u do this buy water proof connectors, as the wires will be exposed tok the elements. I also electric taped them for extra protection. But quick and simple solution.
