AC Delete - A Wiring Question
I deleted the AC in my 84Z some time ago and noticed just tonight that I think I may have too many wires still under the hood near the air box.
I saw multiple pictures of people on having 2 sets of wires/connections going into the box. The 3 or 4 prong one (the bigger one) and a smaller one, which I assume is the power for the fan.
Here's a picture of what I currently have. Notice that I have a gaint relay/connector in the middle that looks like a rat's nest. I know the orange arrow is good, but I'm thinking I shouldn't have the green arrow. In the picture I'm using I still have the CCC wiring still hooked up so please disregard
This is the best picture I have of the engine as it stands. Again, I think the larger relay needs to go
So I guess my question is: Do I need this larger relay or can that be removed as well?

Re: AC Delete - A Wiring Question
You need that relay for your blower motor. It works in conjunction with the resistor to give the motor the varying voltage to change speeds.
