A/C Removal

Hey All,

I have A/C installed on the car, I am looking to removed the whole system.

How does one properly evacuate the system??

That's one of the few things you HAVE to take it to a shop for.

Does the a/c work? If not, you may have gotten lucky in this situation and the refrigerant already leaked out.

Yep. It should be cheap too. They'll just hook it up to their machine and suck it out for you. Takes 20 minutes tops. It won't be expensive.

If it doesn't work then the fridgerant is prob all gone that's what happened on mine never had to take it to a shop just took it off.

yea a juk yard would probably do it for free atleast, they resell it out of old cars that come in.

like paying to recycled oil, bought as smart as paying to recycle a pop can.
