Removing fan switch-85 TA 305 -qjet
Fan switch is shot and keeps fan running as soon I turn key on. I checked my relay and it is good. How do I remove rad fan switch between cyl 1 & 3 on passenger side. I tried from top but oil deep stick is on the way.

There's just 1 14mm nut holding the dipstick in place, remove it and you should have better access to the fan switch. The heat shield can be a pain sometimes too - you just gotta' work with the room you've got back there !
( V8 fan switch is on back of PASS side head,.... not the gauge sending unit on drivers side.)

Ditto this.
Also, make sure you drain your coolant from the radiator.
You can do it without draining the radiator, but coolant will drain out while you swap the switches, causing a bit of a mess.
