Help restoring factory fan function

I've got an '87 IROC-Z TPI 350 car I acquired last year. One thing I want to fix on it is to remove the manual fan switch and getting the cooling fans working the way they did from the factory. The car also has the A/C removed and I plan on leaving that off. So far I have found that the plugs behind the battery unhooked that I assume go to the cooling fan relays that are also missing. Are both relays cooling fan relays or is one to the A/C?

I'm hoping that the factory wiring hasn't been hacked into. I plan on replacing the coolant temp switch, relays, and check the wiring. Can anybody else give me any advice that may help me out?
