A/C smoke!?
I was driving at highway speed and turned my A/C on.
I got smoke thru the dash vents that hard a strong "rubber" smell. Turned the A/C and drove home.No over heating. Alt still charging.
Got home and turned the A/C on again. No smoke, but only hot air thru the A/C system now.
Could someone tell me what happened? Thanks in advance.

Compressor may have seized up and caused the belt burning smell.
When you checked it at home, was the compressor turning or just the pulley?
