Fastest Drying (Fully Cured) Automotive Silicone

I can't seem to find any automotive silicone suitable for oil/water resistance that "fully cures" in less than 24 hours...

It seems ridiculous that in this day an age you can't easily find such a thing.

IS there such a animal?

thanks in advance.

If you have a heat gun try R32-2186 from NuSil.

It’s a 2-part silicone.

Mix it.

Heat it.

Race.

Happy Racing !

i have found over the years, silicone to be a poor choice anywhere on an engine . if i need a gasket sealant . i use permatex #2 exclusively

1. Permatex makes an anaerobic gasket maker that might work for you.

2. Their Right Stuff gray can be put into service immediately after assembly. This is similar to the stuff you use to seal motorcycle engine case halves.

Yeah, I'm actually hearing more and more that using silicone to hold gaskets in place/in place of gaskets on engines is a no-no, as chunks can be squeezed out and end up in your engine somewhere.

Granted, I'm guilty of having done this on numerous water pumps, etc, but not anymore.
