Hey gang

My 89 has not had a/c for MANY years. I bought a new condenser for it recently and going to replace. I also got a full a/c test kit with vacuum pump and gauges so I can vacate the moister. Here are some questions I have.

1. I have the conversion kit with the new ports ready to go just so all are aware

2. The car called for 36 ounces in r-12, I understand there is a formula to convert to R134a and it comes out to 27.5 ounces right?

3. What oil do I use, factory says mineral oil but it does not mix with R134, so should I fill it with PAG 150? (this once I confirm no leaks and all moister is gone)

4. the car call for 8 ounces of oil, so should I poor a full 8 ounce bottler in the feeder tube before I fill the R134?

Thanks in advance, any additional info is appreciated as always.

PS, I should really ask what viscosity of PAG should I use instead of Mineral oil? Or something different from PAG and Mineral all together?
