Deleted AC years ago, want it back.

When I lived in Ohio, I removed the AC stuff. This was back in the 90's. Now I live in Florida and I am dying without it. All of the parts are long gone after moving about 4 times. What to do?

The condenser position is now occupied by a tranny fluid cooler. Even the AC lines are gone. And most of the brackets for the various AC components.

I got a recommendation to install a Vintage Air unit. Does anyone have experience with these?

Im in the middle of doing it. I just pulled all the stock hvac from under the dash so I could measure what I could get in there. I will be ordering mine next week. Im going with the 68000-VUZ-A compac unit. I will be adapting it to the stock vents in the dash and use a sanden 508 compressor im also ordering a universal line kit so I can make all my own hoses/lines. haven't figured out the condenser size I want to go yet...that will be the next step

No one reproduces the A/C hoses for 87, at least not for the TPI cars. There is a kit to convert to a Sanden compressor, but it looks fairly goofy since it has to be mounted far to the driver's side to clear the valve cover. Converting to the serpentine system might be easier, but the evaporator, high pressure line, hoses, etc are all different.
