fan "on" temp

I used the search function but I'm still not finding what I'm looking for. the stock fan on my 305 tbi 1991 firebird comes on at 220 degrees. it gets over 100 degrees where I love and would like to make that fan come on between 190 and 200 degrees instead. is there a way to do this? I mean by resetting the temp on the ecu. I don't want to add a manual switch or anything like that. I want the car to do it.

The fan on your car is controlled by a switch that screws into the head. You can get one that turns on sooner. If you do this I would also recommend swapping the radiator thermostat with a 180.
