Cooling fan won’t turn on...

Ok, today I took the car for a ride. Once stuck in a traffic jam the engine temp was climbing, and the fan didn’t switch on. I stopped the car to cool down it and I drove to the garage. If I jump the terminal A-B in the ALDL socket the fan doesn’t start. The engine is a 3.1 V6 Lh0. How can I do a fan test?

Thanks!!

Probably first check the fan relay and see if it looks burnt on one of the terminals. If that's good put 12 volts on the fan to verify if it's working. Does it work when you switch AC to on?

I have a Camaro not sure where on FBs. You could follow the wiring back from the fan. The relay will have only four wires going to it, two big ones for power in and out, and two small ones,
one for 12 volts with key on and one for the ground trigger from either the fan switch or ECM whichever yours uses

Thanks henry, I just jumped the two red and black red wires from the connector: the fan starts up and the fuse is ok. Maybe a relay issue? Or a bad connection to the dkgry/white wire? Can I chack it easily? Maybe the coolant sensor?
