A/C Compressor won’t stay engaged
My AC compressor is short cycling. It will turn on for a second and then turn off. Then back on and off again. The Freon level is saying “full” according to my gauge. I replaced the accumulator switch as well. Ideas??

Sounds like it is low on freon. I had a gauge that read full before, and bought a different one and it was actually low. It's possible that your gauge may be bad..

that’s what I keep reading, but I don’t want TJ overcharge the system... is there anything else that would cause the short cycle?

Re: A/C Compressor won’t stay engaged
99.99% of the time it's because it's low on Freon. The other 0.01% it's because there isn't enough Freon.
