Oil cooler question for my 91 RS 350 tpi swap., Truck style oil cooler perhaps?

As of right now I'm just running a filter no oil cooler lines like the original 305 tbi setup had , but I live in the south it get real hot , I'm thinking about putting the oil cooler system back on. The orginal system for the 350 motor used the coolant to warm and cool the oil , my 1990 Chevy truck uses a oil cooler that goes right into the radiator . Has anyone swapped a truck radiator and oil cooler lines successfully and did it work well with cooling?

It wouldn't be too hard to install an aftermarket truck style cooler. Personally I dont think they are needed on these cars if you are running a high quality oil anyway. I run Amsoil and Mobile 1 extended in all my vehicles and never worry about oil temp.

Run synthetic and forget the oil cooler.
