Factory harness with aftermarket fans?

Hi everyone,

My dual spal 12 in fans came today and wanted to know if it’s possible to use the original factory wire harness for these fans OR if getting the aftermarket harness is the better (safer) solution. This is for a 91 Z28. Here are the pics below.

I'd go with Scooter's suggestion and make my own harness out of some Weather Pac connectors or the like.

Making my own wire harness I have never done before. I’d be willing to try, after all I did restore an oem radio in my car and that required cutting and soldering wires to restore the connectors. Ok, well I’ll give it a shot.

If your car was originally dual fan and you are setting it up the same way you should be able to resuse. It would probably be a better idea to make a new harness with relays for each fan
