Re: fans not grounding
how do you have them being grounded now? the stock setup would use the coolant fan switch in the block to supply the ground for the fans.

Re: fans not grounding
The way the painless is set up is 2 ground wires out of the harness connect to the ground wires on the fan and then of course the power supply...are you talking about the sensor in the water pump??

Re: fans not grounding
is the painless harness just for the fans or is it part of the engine harness? the factory LT1 setup was done like this:
http://www.shbox.com/1/fan_schematic_1995.jpg
where as the factory third gen setup (dual fans) was done this way:
http://www.austinthirdgen.org/mkport...ine_wiring.gif
you'll need to review the instructions that came with the harness you're using to see how exactly they have the relay set up to switch on the fans

Re: fans not grounding
its a full engine harness...the way they set it up is you have 2 grounds coming out of the relays and they go to the frounds on the fans and you have to find your own power source so i rans accesory to the battery....they kick on when they are supposed to but wont spin hard enough to cool it down and i know for sure its the ground because i tested it....i thought the ecm sends the signal to groudn the fans so they turn on? in your schematic you showd the looks like the stock is no grounded throught the relay?i have to figure a way around this

Re: fans not grounding
The PCM sends the ground to the relay(s) which turns the fan(s) on, the fans themselves ground in the harness and have the power going to the relay(s).
