Missing electrical connector?

Hello,
I just finished replacing my radiator and water pump. I have it all back together but haven’t filled it yet. I’m curious if I am missing an electrical connector on the ported switch on the drivers side of the thermostat housing. It looks like it has a place for a connector to snap in, but for the life of me, I don’t have anything left over to attach there. I’m talking about the square area below the two vacuum ports on the switch in the picture.
1984 z28 L69, manual trans.
I appreciate any insight. Thanks.
