Cooling Fan Switch Wont Turn On (1990 RS Camaro 5.0)

My fan will only turn on with a/c, replaced temp sender, and thermostat, and the fan switch twice, the fan didnt come on when getting to activation temp, which is 205F for the new one I installed. Fan turns on with power probe to connector, so Im still assuming its the switch, so anyone know?

Do you have dual fan setup? Grab a wiring diagram and work methodically thru it to rule out stuff in the electrical path.

I have a single fan, but the connector to the switch turns on the fan with a power probe so could it still be the wiring?

The best thing you can do to get some help is find a wiring diagram for your setup and post it in this thread. then people can help you buy referencing the wiring diagram that you post.

Disconnect the pigtail on the fan switch and ground it with key on and battery connected. If the fan goes on the wiring is good. If it doesn't go on you have a problem with the wire or connector that goes on the switch. If the fan does go on that would indicate the switch is either faulty or not able to ground with the head from too much teflon tape or compound. Check for continuity between the side of the switch and an engine ground which it needs to have to function.
You are replacing the fan switch on the passenger side, and not the temp sender on the driver side that is for the temp gauge, right?
