1984 Trans Am, 383 motor, need AC!

Hey guys,
so as the title states I have an 84 transam with a 383 stroker instead of the 305… I have no AC in this car at all, and I need AC as I live in south Texas. But I am not sure what to do to get a whole new AC kit… I was looking at the vintage air kit but don’t know which to get. I don’t mind dropping a but if cash if I know it’ll work well… can you guys help me out?? Thanks!

I would go with a stock setup. Between Rock auto and ebay you should be able to get it all

There shouldn't be any real issue. IF the car had ac already.....

Basicallly....

1. A/C box
2. Evap
3. accumulator
4. Condenser
Cpmpressor on the driver side for the 82
5. Ac lines

The issue IMO would be if the car never came with ac...the electrical like switches / relays turning on the compreeosr etc..

Did the car have ac before...so stuff like the wiring and what not is somewhere or just cut perhaps?..... or was it a non ac car from the factory? .
