1987 Iroc AC leaking from the compressor pressure switch(just replaced)
Hey! So. I replaced the original leaking pressure switch on the back of my compressure with a new one (including the new o-ring and c-clip. I don't believe anytging was damaged in the switch swap although it did take me some time!
Upon charging it (holds a vacuum great), but now its leaking visibily from the switch again after a day.(AC was weoking great too 😞 )
What am I missing?
Thanks!

Faulty switch or pinched gasket? I would lean towards a faulty switch. Sucks doing the job again! Swap the switch, new o-ring with lube (compressor oil). Then evacuate (again), for at least an hour, then write down the gauge numbers and leave for an hour (I do overnight) to confirm the system is sealed. I also add a little HVAC leak finder when I charge. This makes it a little easier to locate the leaks with a UV flashlight.
