Coolant hose routing

Hello all,

I am working on swapping my old L03 with a new build. I have a 350 with the later model vortec heads and a Jegs 555-513002 intake manifold. The issue is what to do with the "steam" line that comes off the back passenger side of the old intake manifold. I haven't had much luck figuring out how important this line is. Can it be capped off at the plastic vacuum valve? Should I route it to one of the open ports on the front of the new manifold?

Any information will be appreciated.

I can post photos if necessary, just have to log on to a PC to do it.

Thank you,
Ryan

I don't think that line is very important. I would (and have done) eliminate it.
