New radiator has wrong transmission cooler line fittings
Hey guys so I’m in the process of replacing my radiator and coolant hoses on my 89 trans am GTA. I ordered a new radiator off of parts geek. I went to put it in and realized the transmission cooler fittings are different and do not fit, so I will be sending it back. I guess I just need to know which radiator I need. I tried looking at the pictures on parts geek and I can’t tell which radiators have the right fittings. Any help would be appreciated. (I will add photos soon)

Pretty sure you can take those out and re-use the ones in your old rad.

Well there was no way to change out the fittings so I sent it back and I’ll try again when the new radiator arrives

Re: New radiator has wrong transmission cooler line fittings
Last radiator I put in had conversion fittings with it for those lines. And they used an O-ring in the radiator female fitting to seal it. Should be able to find a replacement third gen radiator that's a direct fit though I'd think.
