Transmission lines to radiator?????

Having a problem with the transmission lines that run into the radiator, (I bought some of the 5ft sticks of transmission line at Autozone, ran them, and they aren't "tight" in the fittings, there is play in them, this isn't normal is it? I thought it was supposed to "press" the flared end into the fitting on the radiator.....

How do the new fittings match up to the old ones?

The fittings were screwed into the radiator when the guy gave it to me. Evidentally the fittings are too long, so it's not screwing in tight. Just need the standard stock fitting that goes into the radiator I think. Apparently the ones he had in it were elongated for some reason
