vacuum leak possibly???

not sure where to put this but at idle there is a sporadic sound occurring that sounds like a vacuum cleaner but in short bursts... as in, a medium pitched whine in short instances.

havent driven the car for a week but all of a sudden this issue occurred. familiar to anyone?
