Radiator fan fuse blowing when I start the engine

I have a 1987 trans am GTA with the 5.7, my radiator fan fuse keeps blowing, but only when I start the engine. If I just turn on accessories the fan comes on normally. I’ve been reading some other posts but none are really helping me figure out why it’s only blowing then. I’ve (hopefully) checked every wire to the fans and I don’t see any issues, could it be a switch somewhere that I’m not aware of or something deeper?

Electrical problems are not my strong suit, but I’m trying to get better so any advice would be appreciated!

Could be many factors, bad ecm, stuck relay, a/c commanded on or wrong ac pressure switch. What all have you tested ?

Haven’t really tested anything yet, I just found out about this the other day. Don’t have too much time to be fooling around with it because of university. Do you have any suggestions as to what I could start with? All the relays are fine from what I can tell, and there doesn’t seem to be anything wrong with the ac.

I would start with unplugging the a/c pressure switch , if no change then pull the relay and test the green/white wire. If that’s fine toss in a new relay. The blowing fuse is a short or to much amp draw. Can’t help you being short on time. Take it to a shop I guess
