I'm just trying to get some ballpark ideas on the cost of DFI kits. I'll probably call the Turbo People in NYC for an estimate from them, but I'd like to hear what you guys paid to see how competitive they are. I think I'll probably ask them about the piggy-back setup that connects to the existing computer and just adds to the existing wiring harness. I'll also ask them about the new version 7. Even if you are running different setups then this I'd still like to hear what you have to say about the cost as well as any other comments you'd like to add. Thanks.

Mine was around $650. That was for a stand-alone unit and software. No sensors or harness. But that was about 4 years ago. This is where I got it: http://www.fuelinjection.com/

$1350 Electromotive TEC II with all sensors and software. I also had to get a distributor drop in as it does all the spark work from coil packs now.

$2,287 + s/h was what I just paid for my FAST system. What I got for that much loot was

- Bank to bank ECU with a damn close program preloaded
- Wide band O2 sensor
- Windows version of the program with interface cable
- Complete wiring harness
- NOS wiring harness

The only other thing I had to buy was a ZR1 IAT sensor. $28 from the local GM parts warehouse.

Big $$$ but I shouldn't outgrow this system. At least not for a while.
