The LT1 uses the Opti-spark ignition. Probably going to be difficult to convert either way.

yeah I forgot about the opti spark. How differnt are the 2 systems though? I would like to be able to program my computer without having to burn chips all the time. I can't afford a dfi type system right now but I can get a 95 model camaro computer and harness pretty cheap.
