Chip question

I'm buying a high performance chip and want to know if there are any hints or things I should know before repacing the old one. I've seen it done on TV and it looks very easy.

It is easy and usually fool proof. The hardest thing is getting the computer out from under the dash. Just 2 screws and pull the old chip straight up and replace. Make sure you see that the leads on the new chip are lining up before you push the chip in. Peace of cake though.
