do i need a new EPROM?

im putting in a new cam in my 305 TBI and the lobe separation is 112 degrees. im wondering if i will have any problem with the computer. it is supposed to be made for computer controlled fuel injected motors, but i've heard that it may confuse the computer. the cam is comp cams 08-501-8, gross valve lift- .488/.495, duration at .050-212/218. thanx, rick

To completely optimise any engine change takes doing a chip. And the only way to get the CORRECT chip for your car is doing them yourself. Stock enignes can even slightly benefit from a CORRECT chip.
