Need help with Gen 7 and knock sensors

Friend of my is running a 400sbc with a procharger D1. It's running a solid roller camshaft, but his knock sensor continues to detect the roller cam. He took the knock sensor out and just didn't worry about it. However, he's upping the boost and did a blower upgrade, and he's starting to worry since he continues to drive on pumped gas. Is there a way to use the knock sensor to detect knock but not the roller car. If so how? Any advice at all would help. Thanks.

MSD, and J+S Knockguard are two stand alone knock detection vendors.
